Spring is officially here when a Robin builds a nest on your Easter Wreath by the front door. I guess the wreath stays up until the eggs have hatched and the babies have flown away! Mama is not happy when we forget and use the front door instead of going in and out the garage. She is very shy about getting her picture taken also. Papa is busy guarding the nest and feeding mama as she is keeping the eggs warm. How many eggs do you think she will have?
Taking a picture with the camera above your head is not the best angle, but we can see at least two very beautiful blue eggs. Won’t it be fun to watch the hatching and feeding from this close? We will keep you posted on this fun event!
Mike was working on our front flower bed project and saw a Hummingbird flying around the Azaleas, so get out those feeders!
This weekend is suppose to be nice so get out there and get those plants in the ground….I still have tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, and herbs. The cilantro should be ready for their new homes by Monday, the 27 of April. We have planted our peppers and plan to get our green beans planted this weekend.

Can you find the tomato plants???
I actually planted 5 different tomato plants on Saturday afternoon. The rain last night helped settle them in real well. I have Romain Lettuce planted beside them.
A customer gave me 2 Loquat Tree seeds and I put them in a pot in the greenhouse. I will keep you posted on how the grow….never tried tree seeds before…..Thanks Andi for sharing with me.
On Monday I will be bringing in several flats of herbs. There will be Sweet Basil, Lemon Basil, Parsley, Chamomile and Catnip. Some of the peppers are ready for their new homes, so the will be coming also.

My Blog is up and running again! YEA! Mike worked real hard to get it back up for me…Thank you…..
Easter Day certainly was not a beautiful day outside, but hopefully you had a great day. Our family gathered at our house, had an Easter Egg Hunt inside and ate a delicious meal.
I know, it should be warmer for mid April. The weatherman is promising much warmer weather starting tomorrow, Tuesday, April 14th.
My Tula Garden Hats are in. If you mention you read about them on my Blog you will receive a 10% discount. They really are great gardening hats with nice wide brims.
The plants are selling well, and I still have a good supply. The some of the pepper plants will be ready by the Wednesday and the herbs will be ready next week.
I have a few nice house plants in the store, that came from my greenhouse. Beef steak begonias, Lemon scented geraniums, Hen & Chickens (a cactus) and Angel wing begonias.
