Gardening Tip

I will be posting a few gardening tips each week. The tips this week are:

1. Kill cutworms by sprinkling cornmeal around the plants that they are eating.
2. Feed green-and-black-striped swallowtail butterfly caterpillars by including parsley in your gardens or flower beds.
3. Repel plant eating pest, flies and mosquitoes by planting basil near tomatoes and in patio or deck containers.
4. Put coffee grounds around your hostas to discourage slugs.
